The myth about Hemp - part 1

the 1st post of this blog is about a huge mith that divide the opinion of lots of brazilians, the Hemp, aka Maconha (in portuguese).

most of brazilians think that is just a kind of drug that makes people high and addicted, besides the sponsorship of the ilegal drug traffic.

we are not here to discuss and even support the hemp legalization in brazil. we just want to show the good side of the world of hemp! (yes, this is exist!)
we just can´t imagine how wonderful we can do with this herb! very far away from the bad mith, hemp can provide nice, healthy and legal work for lots of people!

some real facts about the plant, just to start warming this conversation

• it does not require pesticides or herbicides
• is very fast growing
• it grows and produces cellulose 4 times as fast as other plants.
• we can make rope, cloth, composites, paper, converted into fuel, or made into plastic.
